How to fix Kaspersky Activation error “Can’t set up SSL Connection”?


 Kaspersky is a highly recognized brand in the world of internet security. Activation error “Can’t setup SSL Connection”:

Ø  Disable the use of the proxy server in Kaspersky Internet Security.

1.      Visit the Kaspersky official website.
2.      In the Activation of Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 window, select the option ‘Finish’
3.      Look for the ‘Advanced Settings’ window on the upper left side of the ‘Settings’ window.
4.      To select the option ‘Network’ in the left part of the window.
5.      Click on the option ‘Proxy server settings’ in the right part of the window.
6.      To deselect the ‘Use proxy server’ checkbox, in the proxy server settings window.
7.      Select the option ‘Ok’.
8.      In the ‘Settings’ window, select the option ‘Ok’.
9.      You need to activate the app once more time.

Ø  Configure the start of the workstation service.
For Windows 7 or Vista
·         Configure the start of the workstation service.
1.      You need to configure the start of the Workstation service by performing the actions as provided in the onscreen.
2.       Right-click on the ‘Workstation’ item, in the ‘Services’ window.
3.      Select the ‘Start’ option from the opened menu.
Please note- If the ‘Services’ window doesn’t contain the workstation item, then you need to follow the steps-
§  In the bottom of the screen, click on the option ‘Start’.
§  In the search line, click ‘View network connections’ option.
§  Select the ‘View network connection’ item.
§  In the ‘Network Connections’ window, click on the enabled network connections and select on the option ‘Properties’ from the opened menu.
Check whether the ‘Client for Microsoft Networks’ option isn’t missing-
·         If the option is missing, then go for adding the client for MS Networks.
·         If the option isn’t missing then reinstall the client- Delete the client for Microsoft Network or Reboot PC or Install the client for Microsoft Network.

·         Activate the Kaspersky app, one more time.

1.      Click on the option ‘Back’, in the activation window.
2.      You need to activate the app, one more time.
If none of the aforementioned solutions work in your favor then try upgrading your Kaspersky Internet Security to 2015 version. However, if you still face an error then dial the Kaspersky help number and receive an instant help from an expert.
