1. You need to load your documents.
Ø For Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7
1. Click on the ‘Start’ button from the Windows taskbar.
2. Look for ‘All Programmes’ option and click on it.
3. Select the option ‘Brother Printer’
4. Go for clicking on the option ‘MFC-XXXX’ (XXX- model name)
5. Select the button ‘ControlCenter4’ app and click on it.
Ø For Windows 8
1. Click on the ‘Brother Utilities’
2. From the drop-down list, select the ‘model name’.
3. Click on the ‘Scan’ option from the left navigation bar.
4. Select the button ‘ControlCenter4’ app and click on it.

3. When the ControlCenter4 page opens, choose the ‘Advanced Mode’.

5. Check whether the ‘Model’ you wanted to put changes is selected from the drop-down list.
6. Now set the scanning configuration menu by clicking on the option ‘Configuration’, followed by ‘Button Setting’, ‘Scan’ and ‘File’.
As the configuration of the dialog box appears, change the default settings

7. Click on the option ‘Ok’.
8. Select the ‘Scan’ tab.
9. Click on the option ‘File’.
10. Select the option ‘Scan’.
Tips- The system will start the scanning process. The folder will open automatically where the scanned data is saved.
