How to scan documents as a PDF file using Control Center4 for Brother Printer?

While talking about the printer with the modernized functions and models, reliability, and value for the money, no one can compete with Brother Printer in this field. 
ControlCenter4 is a software utility which makes it quick as well as easy to access the app which you access more often. It removes the need to manually launch the particular app.
Note- The screens on your PC may vary according to the models you’re using and the section is based on the advanced mode of ControlCenter4.
Check out the steps as listed below to scan the documents as a PDF file using ControlCenter4 for Brother Printer-
1.      You need to load your documents.
2.      Depending on the versions of Windows you’re using:


Ø  For Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7
1.      Click on the ‘Start’ button from the Windows taskbar.
2.      Look for ‘All Programmes’ option and click on it.
3.      Select the option ‘Brother Printer’
4.      Go for clicking on the option ‘MFC-XXXX’ (XXX- model name)
5.      Select the button ‘ControlCenter4’ app and click on it.

Ø  For Windows 8
1.      Click on the ‘Brother Utilities’
2.      From the drop-down list, select the ‘model name’.
3.      Click on the ‘Scan’ option from the left navigation bar.
4.      Select the button ‘ControlCenter4’ app and click on it.

3.      When the ControlCenter4 page opens, choose the ‘Advanced Mode’.
4.      Click ‘Ok’
5.      Check whether the ‘Model’ you wanted to put changes is selected from the drop-down list.
6.      Now set the scanning configuration menu by clicking on the option ‘Configuration’, followed by ‘Button Setting’, ‘Scan’ and ‘File’.
As the configuration of the dialog box appears, change the default settings
§  Choose ‘PDF’ from the drop-down list of ‘File type’.
§  Enter the file name you wanted to use the file name.
§  Save the file to the default folder.
               Or,
Click on the ‘Browse’ folder, to choose your preferred folder.
§  Choose the scanning resolution from the ‘Resolution’ option of the drop-down list. 

§  Choose the document size from the ‘Document size’ option of the drop-down list.

 7.      Click on the option ‘Ok’.
 8.      Select the ‘Scan’ tab.
 9.      Click on the option ‘File’.
 10.  Select the option ‘Scan’.

Tips- The system will start the scanning process. The folder will open automatically where the scanned data is saved.
